The Portland Foundation Receives $4.5 Million Gift
The Portland Foundation has received its largest-ever gift, $4.5 million from the estate of Elizabeth A. Starbuck. $3.6 million has been received, with the remaining $900,000 to be received by the end of the year. Elizabeth Starbuck, a banker and philanthropist, passed away in March. She bequeathed 90% of the residuary of her estate to the Foundation, creating eight new endowments and adding to five existing endowments.
Jay County 20/20 Vision
The Portland Foundation is hosting the the Implementation Committee of the Jay County 20/20 Vision project - a comprehensive strategic plan for the community.
