A Jay County High School senior has been named to receive full-tuition, four-year scholarship as The Portland Foundation’s 2013 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar. Andrea Bruggeman will receive full tuition to the Indiana college of her choice and an $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment. Andrea plans to attend Purdue University and study Animal Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary. Andrea is ranked #1 in her class with a 4.139 GPA. She is a member of the Jay County FFA, National Honor Society, Student Council, and is a member of the Track and Soccer teams.
